There are many ways that the Woodlake Botanical Garden can expand and grow in beauty and educational aspects. There are many current projects and needs that require fundraising, resources and volunteer energy from generous people like you.
Our immediate needs include:
Volunteers to establish and maintain gardens
Replacement of a small all terrain utility vehicle
Professional pruning of large Cottonwood trees
Installation of a 4,000 linear feet of chain link fence
Replacement of aging fruit trees
Establishment of a coniferous forest area
Our dreams and visions for the future:
Commission artists to create outdoor art honoring the contributions of all people who have positively impacted the growth of agriculture in the San Joaquin Valley
Install interpretive signs highlighting the variety of plants, insects, wildlife, and water conservation features in the garden
Set up educational programs on various disciplines of plant growth science
Install more artistic water features
Botanical labeling of garden plants, shrubs and trees
